Google Drive will remove ‘Google Photos’ tab from the navigation drawer by January 2018

Google, in the form of a New Year gift, will be making its cloud storage service Google Drive less 'cluttered'. The search giant has announced that it will be removing one of the tabs from the Drive’s navigation bar, come January 2018.
